'89/'92Chevy/GMC

For those of you wondering why my name is as it is, this truck build is the insperation for it.
I bought the '89 Chevy K1500 RCSS three years ago now form my dad's cousin for $1000. The truck is in need of a lot of TLC, especially the 350 in it, seeings how it's 21 years old and pushing 400,000 kms. I was using it as a daily driver for a few months after I first got it and worked out all the electrical bugs, but the seals for the oil filter relocater have cracked and I had to put it into storage until I could finance the restoration of it and for me to find a parts truck. So it has been sitting for a little over a year now.
Last summer I found a '92 GMC C1500 RCSB Theft recovery at SGI salvage auction site. So I picked it up for $860 to use the body and interior and any other parts I could transfer that are still good. So far haven't got into it very far yet either.
The plan for this summer is to strip the Chevy down get the engine rebuilt, go through the drive train completely, swap the bodies between trucks, fix the body panels that need repairing, brakes, A/C recharged, glass, tires, and paint. Basically putting it back to a stock truck so I can use it right away.
The GMC will get roughly the same treatment and probably sell it to fund the rest of the project on the Chevy once I have bought another truck for a DD, but I have been thinking about building a drag truck out of it or oval track race truck, because there is a circit here that I can enter it in.
Anyways here are some pictures of the trucks.
