Goofy, that swap will not work without major disassembly and adaptation of both transmissions. Your '98 Silverado has a Vortec 5.7...Your 4L60E has a different input shaft, pump stator and converter than a 2001-2006 4L65E as those were only made for Gen3 small blocks.
