Has anyone kept or deleted the Generator Battery Control Module (GBCM) from a swap harness? I'm swapping an 05 Tahoe 5.3 in an 89 C1500. I done with the pin-outs from LT1Swap.com and he has notes to delete the GCBM, but I've also read deleting it puts additional wear and tear on the Alternator and other electrical components. I'm trying to figure out how to connect and use the GBCM before I wrap up my harness. Otherwise, I'll just bypass it now and revisit if I need to later.
