Well guys heres the deal: I have a 2004 Super Duty I bought this past summer which is badly in need of tires and an alignment, has 125,000 miles, and is two wheel drive. This guy offered me a trade for his GMC. The only reason Im considering is that Im a volunteer Firefighter and need a reliable vehicle with 4x4, and my old 92 GMC is on its last leg and is reserved for beater duty. What do you guys think, should I go for the trade?

Cant get the link to work by copy/paste...but could see that its a 1990 K1500....

On the market, your 2004 is worth a pile more money. That said, its up to you. Your 92 is a good source for parts for the 1990

I personally wouldn't trade for something that wasn't dang near perfect that many years difference and price wise.. I think your truck price is a tad low, and his is high..plus your going backwards in technology also.. Just my 2 cents. Truck would be a nice buy at like 3k tops to me, but I'm the type that doesn't settle for the price they ask..
