The ride in was uneventful. Took the interstate for a few miles. Don't know if the codes are back or not. I forgot my paperclip.
I think I'm going to run another 12 qts through. The fluid still has a slight haze.

I ran the other 12 qts through. Then pulled an empty boat trailer 160 miles yesterday. Lots of stop and go traffic. About half was highway speed. So far so good.

Fingers crossed for you man. I'd keep swapping the fluid, but then again I always put a pan with a drain plug on it so it's easy to do a quick 4 qt swap.

Update. I must be one lucky *******. Almost 5000 miles and still shifting fine. I've been pulling a couple trailers too.

Yep you got lucky alright!!
Ive seen guys trash expensive built transmissions from that same issue you had. From then on i never hook up the factory trans cooler in the radiator. I run a external cooler, either a medium sized one or a TruCool 40K.
