I recently order a Skyjacker Add-a-leaf kit (part # r225) from jegs to put in my 96 k1500. When I went to put it in though I noticed the AAL springs are only 2" wide, as opposed to my 2.5" wide stock rear leaf springs. From what I've read and heard the AAL should be the same width as the rest of your leaf springs, but when I called jegs about it their rep told me it should be fine. Just wondering if anyone's run into this before, or are currently running this AAL setup in their trucks. Thanks

I was looking into maybe doing add-a-leaf kit when I crank my T-bars. Most that I have looked at (Skyjacker, Springforce, ebay, amazon) have 2" wide leafs. Have you put them on, and if you have do you notice any difference in the ride?
