I've looked at those... they are sharp. I need/want something that doesn't go past the size of the door because of the exhaust I'm planning. Here is the other step we were considering http://www.summitracing.com/parts/plt-as-600

The issue isn't a step, it's a place to grab when stepping in... I don't want her using the steering wheel.

not that you are going to hurt it or anything... the wheel should be built to take quite a jolt- unless your fair lady is in the 300+ lbs department

Grabbing the steering wheel with force when getting in and out of any vehicle will lead to issues over time. It's not designed for side stress.

and no, she's closer to 1/2 that department :)
