shakes while on the brakes

when i have the car in drive and i come to a full stop my truck has this vibration and noise that i can't figure out. it does not always do this. i'm thinking trans mount maybe? any ideas?

Mine has a vibration but i have not noticed a noise...good question i have been wondering myself

All replies are good also check fly wheel for cracks around the bolts. On my 93 before it shelled out it had a ticking sound then a miss then right before it broke completly my truck felt like it has a bad miss. All that was left on the engine was the center part of the fly wheel the whole flt wheel fell down it sound bad when it fell down as I was taking off.

Visual inspection would be a good start. A pry bar on them would confirm it.

Are the brakes making the shuddering feeling as your coming to a stop or once you're completely stopped?
