Has anyone took seats from a newer model truck and put them in? I keep seeing new trucks totaled and being parted out and thought it would be cheaper to buy nice leather ones than have mine redone in leather and it would look cooler. I am sure the brackets would have to be modified to an extent but wasn't sure If it was like the square bodies where the floor pan needs to be cut out and the seat frames modified and you end up like a few inches closer to the dash after it was all said and done. And if anyone has done this is there a thread showing what all was done? I've browsed mildly on the topic but didn't come up with much.
