I can’t find thread but somebody recently asked about these latches which have been discontinued by GM.
Or for anyone else that needs one.

I just happened to do a search for the latch and this thread was the first one on the list. LOL

I just checked mine and it’s still good. The ebay one looks to be made of all plastic. My 96 looks like aluminum.

Update: The part number the ad shows is GM 15616252, which GMPartsGiant says is only for 88-93.
