OEM fender flares

Picked up a set of OEM fender flares because my tires and wheels stick out just a little to far for my taste but the flares need paint and new sticky tape to seal them to the fender. So my question is does anybody have any idea what type of sticky tape is put on the flares from the factory and what type of paint should be used on the flares since they are flexible and want them to match the body color of black ?

For the tape, you want double-sided 3M tape or gorilla tape. Something like this:
