NP246 compatibility?

Hi,
Could anyone chime in on transfer case compatibility?

My TC is the one with the clean decal the one I'm looking to replace it is the dirty one. I asked the seller for a clearer picture but in the main time does anyone know if the two are interchangeable?
According to the seller it is from a 2002 car.

So I got a clear picture of the tag.
The only differences are the "Assembly Numbers".
Does the assembly number matter? It is supposed to be from an 02 yukon of off a 4L60E.
I would think it should mate well to my 98 k1500 Suburban as long the decoder is the same?
Am I overthinking this?

Both 246s, both off 4l60s, don’t see why wouldn’t work…

2 questions come to mind.

1) Front yoke placement, was that the same?

2) Rear yoke placement.

I know it's been a while but I just want to share that I bought it and it bolted up fine, and works great.

I was worries they might be the output shaft could have a different spline count or something like that.

I learned something today...I had no idea cars were equipped with t-cases too!

4l60 27 spline outputs mechanically should be direct fit.
Look closely at the pin configurations on the sensors before installing the new/used one.

By car I meant an 02 Yukon.
