I dealt with this issue on my 94. It had me confused for a long time. Mine would do it when hot or warm. For example if i stopped at a gas station for a couple mins then it wouldnt start for about 15 or 20 mins. First time i attempted to fix this problem i replaced the starter with a reman from orileys. It was fine for a year and then the same thing started again. I recently replaced the starter with a brand new bosch brand one and made brand new 4ga wires for the stater along with 0/1ga ground wires and alternator the bat wire. No problems since, but i am sure it is the solenoids in the starter unit that wear out and wont work till they cool down.
