Like Jared, I had a similar fix, but had your problem only my truck wouldn't want to start after soaking in high heat and the sun. Engine could be cold or hot, wouldn't matter. When the truck would crank, it did so just peachy so first I suspected the clutch safety switch, it tested fine. Then I found that if I twisted the key hard enough, it would do it's thing. New switch and having it clocked correctly fixed my woes.
