I was also gonna say ls. 4.8, 5.3 or 6.0?

If my memory serves me correctly, it is a 4.8. I believe that only the 4.8 and the L33 5.3 had flat top pistons but the L33 is an aluminum block.

Yep, the 4.8 is the only truck LS motor with flat top pistons.
