Back in 2003 I was looking to replace my very worn out 1985 Scottsdale and really wanted a late 90s Vortec truck.
The prices for what I was looking for, back then, were all in the $8- $10 range.
I bought mine for $3500.
The worst part was it needed a new frame.
I bought a new frame from GM for $1200, straight from a warehouse in Michigan.

Here is the 85, it has 225K on it and was WELL used and abused.
