Ya he used the vet lt1 this is the one that came out of his bird. 2 bolt. A bead hone and cylinders will be ready to go

I hit mine with a 3 stone 320 grit hone to use with moly rings. Then I wrapped some red Scotch Brite around the stones and hit it again, supposedly to knock the top off the ridges. Took a while to break in, but it'll make close to 300whp on a dynojet.

David Vizard suggests straight up-'n'-down on the cylinders with a hand-held Scotchbrite pad. Knocks the tops of the peaks down, supposedly reduces friction.

DV is way smarter than me. My engines are done that way.

But there are those who argue against many things DV promotes. He's controversial.
