Lowering a 4x4

Are there any other options to lowering the front of aa 4x4 other than drop keys?

I'd really like to do a 4/6 or 5/7 drop. I recently purchased a 97 Tahoe 2 door that's 4x4. I had a nbs denali that I lowered but it doesn't look like they make alot for the obs chassis

Sell it n buy a 2wd. IMO, it's pointless to lower a 4wd when there are 2wd's out there.

agree why would you do such a thing I can not understand it 4x4s are ment to be lifted not lowered

A lowered 4wd is pretty fun. I had a nbs Tahoe with auto 4wd. It was lowered, tuned, etc. Lowered it and have fun.

A lowered 4/awd is useful in areas where it snows for example. My next daily will be a dropped 4wd.

Is there a difference between C and K control arms? DJM makes a 3" drop arm for 2wd.

Shock mount for sure. Could always put on some tabs. Not sure if the LCA itself is different in length with respect to track width.

K has a torsion bar and I believe the c was just coil spring. And yes my previous vehicle was a lowered nbs denali on 24x10's, that thing was a blast.

I'm also looking into lowering a 4x4, my '95 k1500. Something different, and I want the 4x4 for the snow. Drop keys are the only thing I've found to date for the front. It's unfortunate so many people just hate the idea and there is very little information out there about it. I have keys and drop hangers waiting to be installed and I'm going to just see how far that gets me and go from there.
