They flood very well but they do not penetrate really long distances, at least the ones I've seen.

Spot/flood combo, I'll post a pic of my 54 when I get it and my 20" is aimed a little low but you should see Josephs (jdyates)

Exactly. A 130W halogen will have those trees lit up. They are awesome though. Maybe I'm just old school ha.

Yeah, I can understand that. I'm using this as a way to have more light but without having 4 6" bulbs in front of my grille.
