I've got a low profile jack from Harbor, works great with lowered vehicles.

in the 04 the factory stuff, the 88 doesnt leave city limits so I dont keep a jack in there, I can just walk home and drag my jack out to whereever the truck is.

on the lowered trucks my buddy has a craftsman low pro all aluminum 3 ton floor jack which he uses on his 93 Z28 5.7 LT1 6-spd lowered and mini-tubbed runnin mid-11's. and then for all of our lifted trucks we jack at the LCA with a full size 3 or 4 ton jack and it might not lift the truck really high, but it will compress some of the suspension length and bring the tire off the ground, HOWEVER be sure to HELP the jack by securing the truck with a stand and relieve some of the pressure off the jack and on to the stand.
