Went by and checked on the truck yesterday while I was Christmas shopping. Relocated the computer and made a cover for it. Made a battery tray also, didn't get a picture of that. Also see the 3/4 ton upper a-arms installed.

Another update.. I am going to back half it, should be starting that tomorrow.

Also found a 6.0L(LQ4) motor for $300.00. Only problem is it sent a rod through the oil pan.. So fingers crossed it didn't cause any major damage to the block. If there is no damage, be on the lookout for a nasty 408ci build coming very soon!

But unless your stuffing a 20" slick under a backhalf isn't necessary.

Post the pictures after you back half it. Im on the fence about doin it with my crew cab.
Will do. The only reason I'm back halfing it is because of the current rear setup. Its a mix of bolted on Airbagit.com road grader crap & some junk angle iron braces. If I started with fresh frame rails, I'd just go with the Nfamus 3-link. Which my back half will be based on, wishbone 3-link with bag on bar.

Oh no.. I'm not going that far with it. lol It will be keeping its 20x8.5 wheels/tires. I just want a fun truck, pull up at the drag strip once in a while.. Hit #1 ride height, make people look and run in the 12's.
