why is the MAP reading significant in this case. You said to take notice of the MAP reading in the first picture, why?
The Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor reads the vacuum in your Throttle Body. It's the inverse of vacuum so the higher MAP goes, the less vacuum you have inside the Throttle Body. If you have a vacuum leak somewhere else (like an intake gasket), your MAP sensor will read higher. With your throttle blades open too much, you'll see higher MAP readings too, the IAC will be commanded to close trying to get the idle down to requested RPM.
