This thread makes me sad . These have only become harder to find. If anyone still makes adapter harnesses to use a 96+ control unit, I'd be interested.

They’re all over eBay for $125 or so for the harness only.. , I just bought one to do the same 96-98 control head conversion With defrost to be added later for my mirrors.
