What motor is in the canyon? I hope it's the 5.3 if you are considering trading. Those little trucks are heavy. A 4cyl is going to suck, even with a manual transmission.

And a v6 won't be a whole lot better.

They are a whole different game than the s10's were.

I've had a canyon since 07 with the 3.7l in line 5 and it is great. More than enough power for the truck and very good on gas. I actually like it a lot.

Its a 3.5 inline 5 cylinder homie.. Its a crew cab also..the 5.3 didn't come till like 2010 ..its worth more than my truck so he probably won't trade but I'm going to try
