Have fun! It's a major PITA! IIRC that braided stuff is stainless. That has NO respect for human flesh! Wear some good gloves.

the first kit I had the stuff cut with scissors, but this last one, no way I had to use a grinder to cut it.
As for hoses they do make the full chrome hoses kits you buy and replace the hose, they are flexible but not braided stuff.

Haha, My engine is a diamond and the rest of my engine bay looks like a piece of poop! Even the headers which I just sprayed with about 5 coats of $1 Walmart black still aren't peeling at all with about 1000 miles since the rebuild.
