The truck I had before the previous owner had done what I'm going to do and it worked great. You can see a little in this picture.

How? I've been racking my brains on how to go about doing it, even thought about using an older style mini trucks fender bulge, cutting a line from center of arch up a few inches and a line about 1/5 in from each end of fender, bulge it out and weld in the minis fender bulge in the across cut, and adding in to fill the new gap from the center up cut being pulled apart. (Made sense in my head...Lmmfao).

I'm not going to flare the front just the bed and the way I'm going to do it, is after I cut the clearence hole is cut I then just make a dome piece of sheet metal and weld it over the hole and the smooth it in to the body line.

Thanks jmig.

Saturday got mine motivated to work on the truck. So Sunday I stayed working on the inside off the bed and was going good and then ran out of welding gas. Went and got a bigger tank, like three times the size.
