I just want to add a consideration though I appreciate the OP states he has a c2500 - GM for several years put 2wd rear ends in 4wd vehicles resulting in a track difference of nearly 4 inches - maybe there is a similar track issue with the C series, I don't know. I put steel spacers in my truck to deal with this issue and it changed the handling of the truck dramatically. It is winter here alot of the year and the different tracks resulted in squirrelly handling in deep snow. Apologies for the poor photo

The root cause was the no-name spacers didnt have a large enough hole to fit a thick impact socket into so I was stuck using a thin walled chrome 3/8 drive socket and that setup couldnt get enough torque.

There are thin wall impact sockets on the market, if you ever tread into spacers again...
This set is from Gearwrench, 17, 19, and 21. Can't remember what I paid it's been so long, but damn worth every penny now that so many companies are making wheels with skinny tunnels for the lug nuts.
