Help! Center Vent assembly reassembly

Hello all,
I am new here. I bought a 1989 Cheyenne a while back for $500 and am going through it starting with the interior. I did a recolor of the interior plastics so I had to remove everything plastic, which by the way is a ton of plastic!!! Anyway, I popped the vents out of the center vent assembly and can't figure out how they go back in and stay in place. Anybody have a picture or description that might help me out.

The little angled wire pieces have a curve in the corner, that goes against the end of the vent where it swivels, and the tips of the wire poke into the holes beside the vent. Getting the 2nd tip in is usually a little tricky, just take your time.
