Hard Start in 96 454. Please Help, this is a doozy

Try swapping the MAF with your wife's, just for kicks. If that doesn't do anything, then put your original back and swap the MAP sensor. They should be the same part between the two engines. Really at a loss without better diagnostic tools, so swapping known good parts can eliminate other variables.

So those maf units are the same ones? Isn't the map sensor the one under the very front of the fuel rail? I tried to pull the o2 sensors but they are very stuck so I sprayed them with wd40 and will try again tomorrow

Yeah I was asking about the location of the map sensor that he mentions to try second if the maf doesn't do anything
