That is your Reputation Bar, as the amount of Rep you receive increases; you will gain more green bars! The higher your "User Rep" number is, the more bars you will have! Hope that helps clear that up a bit for you!

There is a difference between your reputation and your reputation power.

The green bars are based off of your reputation which is based off of rep received from people. You get more rep if the person has more reputation power.

Your reputation power is based on reputation received, number of posts, how long you've been a member, and a few other things.
