Nice man, I have a '91 Firebird as my fun car. These thirdgens can be made to handle really well with just a bit of work, they're pretty fun cars IMO.

thanks, i see your car and truck combo on your sig, and i must say i like. lol i just hope the 2:73s will be better then i think.

i agree with the perofmance on the vetts expecially with the crossfire injection, but nothing beats saying you have a vett, and my older brother was looking to get a c3 and ls1 swap it, and i always loved the c4s so it was just a thought. i think im going to stick with the trans am sense i already have most of the parts for the swap. i was thinking about getting hids but i found these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7x6-...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item588a1699ff and with these bulbs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H3-5...es&fits=Submodel:Trans+Am&hash=item33692feb6a, i was wondering if they would fit in thoes housings, or in the stock housings as a cheap subsitiute for hids.

For one, that is a single headlight assembly, gotta purchase 2, just in case ya didn't notice. Another thing is, you MUST run HID's in there if you plan on ANY night/dusk driving. With halogens, they are JUST bright enough NOT to get you pulled over for insufficient lighting. I did those on my truck, except I use the ones with the projector assembly for the HIDs.

Also, H3's aren't the correct bulbs for the housings, these housings might do you better, halo with projectors: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7X6-...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45fa67f20c

I would still suggest HIDs for those aftermarket headlamps, actually I suggest HIDs for ANY vehicle with recessed headlamps, due to some light blockage by the body panels.
