Getrag 290 fluid level

Can someone give me advice as to how to check the fluid level on a getrag 290 and how high should it be?

Getrag 290 is a 5-speed manual is it notttt? Should be able to take fill/check plug off side of transmission, should be sitting right level with the bottom of the hole for the plug.

Yes it is, thanks for the info. I'm just worried she's a bit low right now

Toss a bit in there, one good thing is ya can't over fill them from that side plug, hah.
