Gas Tank

not sure where to put this, so it goes here. will a 89 long box gas tank fit in my reg cab short box truck, in need of a gas tank and found one out of a long box. thanks for the help

simple answer yes but you have to do some work frame wise. i got a long bed tank i put in my stepside, i moved the one crossmember ove r a touch and added a second one. longbed are like 46 gallon or something and short beds are 26 and yukons, burbans are 30ish??? something along those lines. size wise if i remember correctly the long box one is just longer, its the same width and height.
