I am removing the right front fender of my 94 burb. What do I need to do to remove the antenna cable so that I can remove the fender? Does the base itself unscrew from the outside and the cable pulls through the fender?

There is a large nut that holds the antenna base on, it has 3 or 4 slots on the top of it. Take a screw driver and a hammer and lightly tap it until it spins off. Or if you have one,you can use an antenna nut tool. Then it pull it down through the fender top through the access hole in the fender.
