DTC 33 Flow Chart

Does anybody have a flow chart to diagnose trouble code 33? MAP sensor to high. Replaced the sensor and hose, still getting a code.

Think it might be a wiring harness issue.

Attach a vacuum gauge and check actual vacuum at idle. Down here near sea level it's 18-20", dunno about normal for where you're at. You should likely see bare minimum 15-16".

Most likely you have a vacuum leak elsewhere. Like...the TBI base gasket? How does it run/idle?

seems to run ok when cold. But when it goes into closed loop it will die and I have to feather the gas pedal.

I just rebuilt the throttle body, new pressure spring, injectors, IAC and throttle position sensor.... seemed to run good for about a week.

also replaced the coolant temp sensor. did these before the problem started.
