Does post-cat O2 sensors effect open/closed loop?

As the title states. I'm throwing p0154 and p0161. Bank 2 sensor 1 and 2 basically. That bank cat is gutted, so I'm expecting it to throw a post-cat code, but just making sure that any "sensor 2" codes shouldn't effect whether the car is in open or closed loop right? It's currently showing open loop on my HPTuners scanner, but I'm pretty sure that's due to the sensor 1 code.

No it doesn't the second sensors only check the catalyst efficiency. The sensor one issue is what's keeping you from going to closed loop....
