That would work for the radio but if the windows still go up and down I'm sure something else getting power would drain the battery.

Pretty sure the 400s don't have BCMs.

Yea I think only the denali and the escalade had them.

You guys are right, I was thinking of the Passlock/EVO module that the newer 400s have. I'm not even sure if my '97s have the exact ones in this thread as they are EVO equipped but have no PassLock, but these are what I was thinking of for some reason.

Think it might actually be a problem with the door sensor not pressing all the way in because today it happens ed and I pressed the sensor all the way in and released and it turned off.
