Here are my new steps I fabbed up last night...along with a matching hitch step... I also have all the material for a full set of traction bars ready to be glued together with the squirt gun...what are your thoughts?...what are your custom designs on side steps?...I wanted something different so this is what I came up with...

Ya pretty simple to build...could definitely be scaled down down or altered pretty easy...and its different IMO...may not be for everyone tho I understand...all in all there is about $120 in material...including the hitch steps....powder coat will be extra tho...

Wow those look fantastic! Are you planning on capping the ends? That would be my only concern. Looking forward to seeing powder coated final results!

What do you call the steel that you used for the actual step...I'm in the process of building my own custom steps and haven't been able to find something I like, but that looks great and very functional.

I read that too fast...the steps are whaty steel shop calls "ladder rung" or "ladder tread"...it was in a 5' stick so I cut 5 @ 1 foot(4 for the steps and 1 for the matching hitch step)
