Code 32

Hey guys, so on my way back home from University my check engine light came on. When I got home I pulled the code and it was code 32 which is EGR?
I just replaced the EGR valve less than a year ago. I checked all the lines and they looked good.
Anything else to do or look for? My dad's gonna take a look at it probably tomorrow.

If the valve is not an AC Delco part then it is suspect. Otherwise make sure it holds vacuum with the engine off. Next check and make sure the valve moves freely and doesn’t stick. Finally while the truck is running start to open the valve. If the passages are clear the truck should stumble or even stall.
