another question: how long have you had it on now? does it seem to hold up pretty good to the bugs and everything?

Thanks, funny thing is I did this mod over a year ago.

any specific pics you guys would like i can take some but I'm going to a dance tonight so it'll be soon or tomorow.

For bugs I use "Bugs B Gone" from SeaFoam and that works the best, it doesnt harm the film and I use it on the whole front of my truck.

Another thing I've heard about is using Acetone or paint thinner on the front of the bars. Supposedly it will wipe away the black paint leaving "chrome" plastic underneath. I've seen it done on Chevy grilles, not 100% sure if it'll work on a GMC grille though
