Today in was on the freeway and I went to pass some and under wot I heard a loud and quick tapping sound. Then the service engine soon light came. I got home and I noticed also that the a.c. compressor clutch was engaged all the time and not cycling on and off like normal. My truck is a 91 c2500 with the 5.7. I jumped connector a and b together to run diagnostic mode and I received these 2 codes back 43 and 68. After about 30 min, I started up the truck and the engine light was off and the engine was idling and raving smooth and the a.c. compressor clutch was working fine. What might the issue have been?? It was 100 degrees outside also.
