The heater core leaked, put a lot of coolant in the passenger side floor board. The jute and insulation on that side are ruined, seems like the coolant just won't dry. I pulled all the wet material out and need to replace it.

I had removed the carpet to pressure wash it when I got the truck so I can R and R the entire thing again, no problem.
What do you guys suggest? If I am going to the trouble I want to insulate better for sound and heat.

Comments are appreciated!

Dynamat is the best way to go, but it's a little pricey. You can go on ebay and buy generic sound deadening sheets too.

I used 'FatMat' in my trucks. About as good as the 'Dyna-Mat' @ about 2/3 the price.
You can get new jute from pretty well any upholstery shop or supplier. Fairly cheap.
Comes 40" wide. You'll need 4 yards to do your truck. 2 runs across the floor, side to side.
