Lots of good solid support here

Normally this thread would begin and end in a flame
Seeing as how SAS gmt400 is about as common as flies on .
Every truck forum touches on them and covers which axles for which uses
Pirate4x4 etc....
But I wish now I had gone 4link on mine
She rides like a damn battle ship

ive been telling everyone since day 1 coils over leafs all day long but noooooo one listens everyone wants a solid axle swap but wants it generic, poorly riding etc.

lol I seen a guy use the rear shackle mount for the front leafs for his coil over swap after leaf sprung SAS

But everyone talks about proper geometry on Links
Did he just use it either way and lived with poor riding or what?
I have never done cool over setup but I'm a decent welder

pardon me too, ive done it with stock squarebody stuff, ive used ford radius arms and soft ride bronco lift coils which is by far my favorite, decent flex even better ride quality, ive played around with it alot truthfully, the downside to improper geometry is it more so affects flex and such, if things are binding with even the sluightes bump in the road due to improper geometry then yea it rides like a brick house
