Have you guys ever seen ambulances when they put their brakes on their brake lights flash a couple of times quickly before staying lit? Is there a way to do that with our trucks?

I mean, they don't constantly flash, they flash a few times then hold steady.

Your 3rd brake light is exactly what I am talking about. Not a constant flash.

Most emergency vehicles do this because of the programming on their strobes. All of our roll beds and wreckers do this when you brake.

Hm, well, Truckin has it set up on his 3rd brake light, maybe he'll chime in and tell us how he did it. His is exactly what I want to do, possibly a little less flashes, maybe three then hold.

I got it from my supplier.

To get it to work on the taillights: You'd need custom made LED circuit boards (for safety purposes, no, I repeat NO LED bulb would be as bright) than tap into the high-side (brake/turn).

It'd actually be quite simple after the tail's were retrofitted.
