Body mount brackets worn down

put new body mount bushings on my single cab long bed 88 gmt400. Cab is still sagging because the brackets are rusted out some but still attached to the frame solid. I can’t weld and don’t have a welder and to be honest don’t want to pay anyone to fix this cause it’s not the nicest truck I just wanted to fix the sag.

Im thinking of going to ace or Napa and getting some big washers and putting them on top of the top bushing to push the cab up. Thoughts?

Get some big ass washers, (Technical term) larger in od thanthe bushings and install them atop the rusted out mounts not atop the bushing,
