has anyone tried venting the toolbox out the back or bottom? or insulating/carpeting it? i really wanna paint it blakc but dont want to cook everything I have in there (beers and cordless tools)

I don't know if it would make much difference, but it's worth a try.

i think i'm gonna try it, after I get my backrack built i'll paint my toolbox and bedrails at the same time.. black it all out, my toolbox is in need of welding anyways.. i'll likley need paint to hide some of it
