I remembered something, when those first came out, quite a few were installed. They look good sure. But I always look at things, stuff with an engineer's eyeball. What material is made of? How is it attached ? What's the weak points?
You used to be able to tell who had them installed and then loaded them over capacity. As there would be the outline of 4 holes in the shape of the tie down. The 4 holes looked like 4 bullets had blown out from inside the bed. Or just a half inch of flip up T part, as the T part broken off.
