Back glass removal

Are all the 88-98 back glass windows glued in?? my 88 looks just like the rubber gaskets..?

yes they are ,there is a piece that goes around the glass that looks like a gasket but that is glued to the glass then the adhesive goes on the backside to hold it to the cab,i have taken many out when i worked at the local salvage yard and without the heat knife your chance of shattering them was greater.

I use a good sharp utility knife when the interior plastic trim is removed, it takes a couple of passes but the window comes out no problem!

Thanks. I may give it a shot. It's on a parts truck, so if I break it I'm not out much.
