Just a small update on the paint; everything has been painted save the Rollpan and a few odds and ends. Now it just needs to be put together.

Still no major updates but I got a picture that shows the new paint in contrast to the old, figured it really brings the transformation to life. Window installation scheduled for this weekend, maybe I’ll make it out to cruising the coast

Managed to get a windshield and the side panels put back in. Got a new windshield and the side glass was out of a junkyard 96. Gonna give a shoutout to Maximum Auto glass. If you are on the gulf coast and need glass I highly recommend them. Not only did he install the glass but he took the time to educate me on properly removing, cleaning, and reinstalling windows.
As of now hopefully will have all body panels installed by the end of this month.
I have sound deadening mat on the way, so that’ll be in sooner than later
Headliner is supposed to be getting redone this month as well.
Barring any unforeseen issues (undoubtedly will have some) the truck should be “done” by the end of November.

Side note:
The torsion bars in the truck currently do not have the gumption to handle the weight of the BB, 4L80 and 9.25 so I am currently exploring other options for bars.

Having some slight issues with my upper ball joints as they don’t want to seat all of the way, so I am also going to ream spindles a bit and see if I can get a more solid connecting there.

I have given up on the AC. Learned recently that the ECU (which has been removed from the chat) is integrated with the climate control. I had a few ideas to make it relay controlled but after much consideration I am just going to pay someone to do it and avoid the headache.

Did all of the sound deadening last night, and a little bit today, ran out towards the end but the difference is night and day already.

Supposed to be going to get all body panels installed on Saturday.

Might get the new front carpet put in this weekend but that seems like a tough ask
