I have a 1998 sierra and i am having trouble with my driver side rear blinker. It just wont flash. I have cleaned the socket and changed the bulb. Everything else works. Flasher flashes fast on dash/front blinker flashes fast. Is this common?

Could be the board in the tail light

Fast flashing means a bulb is burned out, or in your case, probably something amiss with the circuit board in that light as stated above.

The circuit boards in those tail lights are horrible about going bad. Best solution is to get a replacement set of tail lights from Rock Auto. Cheapest and easiest....
